Future RN, 1/2 Way to Graduate Session!

Sara L, FUTURE RN

Sara earns her WHITE COAT :D

What better way to celebrate your accomplishments than by having a solo session?! Sara is halfway done to get her RN, BSN and we celebrated together! 2 years down, 2 more to go! I photographed Sara before for her Senior portraits a couple of years ago, and she came back for her session just before her White Coat Ceremony - I was so happy to see her smiling face again!

Where did we go to celebrate you ask? I’m gonna tell you!

(Isn’t she so adorable?!)

Sara loves time to herself and exploring new forest preserves and this little forest preserve in Lake Villa is a great spot! It’s called Rubber Duck Pond (how frickin' cute is that?!) I’ve been here before but it had been a few years, and it was so nice to be back with such a great human!

She brought with her a set of scrubs, a classy blue dress, her stethoscope, and of course, her white coat! (If you’re thinking, “how did she change into her other outfit?” Don’t worry - I gotchu! I bring with me my changing tent so you don’t have to change in your car or in some gross bathroom. You just let me know and I’ll bring it with me!) Of course, we had to recreate a pose or two from her senior session, and I think we nailed it!

To give you an idea of what to expect: it’s a smaller forest preserve, but really well-kept/mowed so there’s lots of cute areas to walk around, a beautiful pond with lily pads, and endless spots for great sunsets!

I can’t wait to see her again in two years when she finishes the program and becomes the nurse that people need. If you’ve ever met Sara, you’d know that she’s so sweet, and a perfect fit for the nurse that she wants to become and I can’t wait to see her fulfill her dreams. Until then, stay amazing, Sara! Kick that programs’ ass!!!

xoxo,

Dana
