Harry Potter Fans: A look inside the magic & TIPS TO MAKE YOUR TRIP AMAZING
Yer a wizard, Harry…
My husband and I have been to Universal Studios a few times and we’ve got a good system by this point! Instead of asking Facebook, I’ll give you the tips to enjoy your time at the parks and to save money! Because we all know spending 8+ hours means, lunch, snacks, and more snacks, can add up quick.
BRING A CAMELBACK. It’s slim enough to stay in a locker (which, are free, unless you get the big ones! Those are $3+ just make sure to bring a debit/or credit card) and you can fill it with snacks and ice water! You need your park ticket to use the lockers, FYI.
HAVE BREAKFAST AT YOUR HOTEL/ON-THE-GO. Depending on where you stay in Orlando, your hotel might have a kitchen or a microwave! Stock up that hotel with snacks, breakfast items, and late night eats so you don’t have to starve if you get to the parks at rope drop and stay all day until the end of the night.
BRING THE GOODS. Portable phone chargers, tums, chapstick, camera, ibuprofen/tylenol/advil, etc. butt wipes, bandaids, sunscreen, sunglasses, and poncho.
DOWNLOAD THE APP. The app has everything from wait times for rides, to ordering food! It’s user-friendly and it literally has everything you could think of; it can even have your park ticket on there. Like how cool is that?!
BE CONSCIOUS OF WHAT YOU WEAR. You WILL go through multiple metal detectors before walking into the park, and on certain rides so make sure you’re not carrying anything you shouldn’t be.
STAY IN LINE. If a ride just so happens to be put on a delay, stay in line! Why? You could get an express pass for a single ride FOR FREE!! (Essentially the express pass cuts your wait time in half and it can be used for almost any ride, unless it states otherwise.)
BE PREPARED TO GET WET. Should you go on any water rides, they seriously have some big splashes! So don’t carry any electronics with you, or get ready to strut that poncho!
CASHLESS & APPLEPAY. Need I say more?

I hope these tips help you with your trip and should you go, I’d love to hear all about your experience!
xoxo,
Dana
