Oh, to be young and in love
Kevin and Dana were literally such a joy to work with, I couldn’t imagine their engagement session going any other way! The three of us walked around the St. James Farm Forest Preserve for their session and let me tell you, there’s endless areas to get amazing shots throughout the entire park. We probably walked 1/10th of the forest preserve and it worked out perfectly for their session and our time together!
So before we even got to the session, Dana had the idea of photographing at this forest preserve, and the area with this beautiful set of perfectly lined up trees. She had sent me a picture of it and I nearly gasped - it was SO beautiful! (Thankfully, it’s right off the parking lot so it’s super easy to find and get to! Dana, AKA me, went on a little hike to try and find this specific spot only to find out it was right by where I parked. *FACEPALM* I literally walked right past it and didn’t know. Bahahah) Perfect example of the trees below :)

These two high school sweethearts truly expressed their love for each other, and Kevin was totally down to do whatever for the shot, which isn’t always so common with guys getting their pictures taken. (True trooper status; take notes, gentleman! You may just have fun! ;))
Spinning her around? Easy peasy.
Endless kisses? Without question.
Airplane arms ending with bearhugs? You got it.
